We’ll soon have pre-made high quality original designs for websites available for purchase and integration into your own website. Essentially you will be buying a one-off design off-the-shelf that is ready to go. It won’t look like any of the other site’s we’ve designed, but it will follow the basic principles of web usability that we have found help a website to be successful. So though it will follow our formula for design functionality it will not look like a template.

This gives you certainty over what you are going to get! No more handing money over to a web designer and hoping they come up with the right web recipe for your business.

You’ll be able to pick the design you want, and within 48 hours you can be adding in your own content.

The site can be hosted with us or with your own hosting account. All final website designs will be converted to WordPress themes so you can take advantage of WordPress content management and blogging. Or you can just buy the PSD file and have your own web designer implement the design.

Is your email signature letting you down? It would have to be one of the most overlooked marketing methods out there. Everyone knows to put contact details in their signature now, but that’s old hat.  To get your email signature really working over time for you, you need to personalise it and include marketing messages.

And it’s not hard to do.  All you need is an HTML file as your signature base. You then import the signature file into Outlook.  You just need to have all of your images online (we recommend having an email directory on your website for this purpose).

At Web Matters it dawned on us that not everyone knew what we are able to do for them.  Some thought we just did SEO, whereas other clients thought we just did web design. So we added ‘what we can do for you’ into our signatures. Has the signature got us new work? Absolutely, in fact it even got us signature design work! (And yes, we can design your signature for you as well!).

We’ve just launched the Canterbury Tahr Hunting website for professional hunting guide John Royle. Built in WordPress the website features large images that are used to capture the feeling of a truly authentic New Zealand hunting trip, a large background image, a blog, and a dynamic gallery of hunting and scenic New Zealand pictures.
