So you want your website to rank better in Google?

Then you’ve come to the right place. We’ve had years of experience* in improving Google rankings for many different websites, from New Zealand tourism websites, through to professional services and online shops and just about everything in between (mortgages, life coaches, insurance companies, online pharmacies, vineyards, and even airlines).

The website subject matter and target audience may differ, but the basic principles of site optimisation stay the same:

  1. Research the keywords
  2. Determine the actual rankings
  3. Check for barriers to the search engines
  4. Take a close look at the wording
  5. Review the HTML code used
  6. Check how many websites link to the site

Does it all sound like double Dutch to you?

Don’t worry if it does, we’re here to make it as simple as possible. We can do this, because we’ve spent many years researching SEO methods and refining our skills.

Are results guaranteed?

For many technical and practical reasons Web Matters and any honest SEO company will not offer a guarantee that you’ll be number one or number two on Google. It’s just not possible to make that claim – as the search engines can change things in a heart beat.

How fast can you get results?

The answer depends on a lot of things. If your site has been online longer than six months, has links to it, and you’ve been regularly adding new content to your website, then the chances are pretty good that rankings can be improved within 7-14 days. If the site is brand new, it may take 3-4 months at least to get some results. After those three months are up, the site may need some adjustments to the SEO based on the rankings achieved and the data in your website visitor logs.

What’s it going to cost?

The good news is that SEO doesn’t need to break the bank! We optimise websites by the page – that means that if you have a small website with only less than 10 pages you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how affordable SEO with Web Matters will be. We can also keep our costs down as we are a boutique company with low overheads.
